Porcelain Veneers are wafer-thin, custom-made shells of tooth-colored materials designed to cover the front surface of teeth to improve appearance. These shells are bonded to the front of the teeth changing their color, shape, size, or length. We recommend this treatment to anyone experiencing discoloration that cannot be fixed with whitening or if your teeth are damaged. Porcelain veneers are also an option if you’re unhappy with the shape or look of your natural teeth.

The Porcelain Dental Veneers Procedure
Porcelain dental veneers are made of a very strong ceramic material designed to last for years, even decades. The thin shells are custom-made to fit over the front part of your tooth and hide dental imperfections. After an initial impression of your teeth has been made, Dr. Foroughi will send you case to the lab to have ideal wax up to be made. This will be helpful to demonstrate how the teeth will look prior to starting treatment. Also, the wax-up will be used to make your temporaries. The next appointment, we will prepare the teeth for the Veneers and have your new veneer custom-designed and created to fit your tooth. Once it has been made, Dr. Foroughi will affix the veneer to the affected tooth. After affixing the veneer with strong cement, Dr. Foroughi will color-tint it to match the surrounding teeth for a look and feel that is both natural and beautiful.
Results can often last decades and most people won’t even know you have a porcelain dental veneer unless you tell them!
